The building is undergoing modernization and therefore makes it tough to navigate from place to place. Love the staff here and they are very helpful.

This is the last weekend that the National Aquarium will be open. It is closing on Monday, September 30th 2013. It'll be sad to see it go. It has been there a long time. I've visited the aquarium a few times. Is not the best aquarium I've been in but very informative, excellent staff and my children really enjoyed it. This place will be missed. Hopefully they stay in DC, if not I'll have to trek all the way to Baltimore. If you're in or around DC this weekend or Monday stop by and see a part of history while you can.
