The reason I hired her is because I recognized that she was a deeply principled person with unbelievable determination (her personal story is incredible). It also didn’t hurt that she was trained by one of the most respected trial lawyers in Southern California. But ultimately, I hired her because of WHO she is, and, I can tell you it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the get go, her staff was caring and responsive. But they aren’t just “nice.” That wouldn’t be enough. They are also really good lawyers. How do I know? Because I’m a lawyer and I read the papers her office submitted to the court, and I was there at the mediation and saw Kim Valentine in action. She has good instincts. You can’t teach that. Even better, a lawyer friend who was at the mediation (on the same day but on a different case) texted me during the mediation that he overheard a conversation between two other mediators and they said “Kimberly Valentine is here on a case today. Boy, she is a REALLY good lawyer.” I agree. I also want to mention that her associate, Jonathan Santiago, is an excellent young attorney with a bright future ahead of him. He is a caring person with good legal ability. While I’m sure that all of her associates are equally talented, you’d be lucky if Jonathan is assigned to your case. In sum, you will not find a more dedicated elder abuse lawyer than Kim Valentine. If she wants to take your case, you shouldn’t think twice about it. Do it.

This firm provides very specialized and individualized service. They are very selective in the cases they take. But if they take your case you will feel very fortunate. They are as good as they come.

Wasted my time (3 months) , just to tell me they can't take my case. Made me get all medical records for my dad, when I thought that's what you hire a lawyer for. Than after that long, asked me to get ambulance records, even if they still haven't started reviewing the medical records because they are very busy. I asked how I even start to get those because I don't know. And, than was told to come pick up my records and that they can't take the case. I know they're busy, but I rather they wouldn't even have tried to take the case than to waste my time.
