If you are looking for a lawyer to represent you in a trial, do not hire Nick Barnes. He does 40 cases a day and has no time to dedicate any time to your case. I was 100% innocent and wanted very badly from the start to face my accusers. He NEVER listened to me or reviewed the police report and police cam videos with me. I was straight out lied to. I personally paid $450 for the police cams and watched the accusers lie and contradict each other and themselves to the police. The injuries from a “battering” was a pinky that was starting to bruise. (And her son did that when she tried stopping him from attacking me).The case would have been very easy to defend in court. After railroading me for 14 months, he forced me to take a diversion. He filed the diversion out of court and my final court date was cancelled. This was significant because the Judge will ask you in court if you were forced to take the plea. He told me for the whole time that I was facing no jail time and that the prosecutor didn’t know what to charge me with, until he wanted me sign the diversion. He told me then that I was facing 2 1/2 years, and when I still wanted a trail, he used reverse psychology and turned to his assistant and said that I will go to court and lose because woman always win. He had the nerve to say that it was his reputation that was on line. Having Barnes as a lawyer will haunt me with regret the rest of my life. Don’t let Barnes steal your bail money. The less time he can spend with you on your case, the more per hour he makes. Prosecutors must love him. Throw away that flyer he sent you. I was victimized by Barnes and denied my Constitutional rights. To make things worse, Nick Barnes was defending my Step-son in a DUI at the same time he was supposed to be defending me against him.When I brought up to Barnes that my son had attacked me, Barnes said that there was Lawyer/client confidentiality and he couldn’t talk about him. If that’s not conflict of interest, I don’t know what is. I really need to report him and sue him for damages for not representing me.

Nick Barnes is the best lawyer I have ever worked with. He is always calm, compassionate and respectful. I never have any trouble getting in contact with him or his office and he takes the time to answer all of my questions. I will continue to come back for anything I need in the future.

Vouga has been my attorney for over 15 years and I wouldn't recommend anyone BUT him. No nonsense and does exactly what he says he will, every single time. My life would be in a completely different place if it wasn't for his legal help and expertise.

denny tried writing me a quick plea deal for my case. He told me that video footage for my incident wasnt available. I told the judge i dont find this plea deal acceptable. Then suddenly when i say that video footage was found and and they gave me vouga and another plea deal. Which is a great guy but honestly its been a week since my ruling and i instantly regret it. They pushed my case back for almost 2 years and made me feel pressured into taking another plea deal instead of taking it to trial. (They kept insisting that this was my best bet when theres absolutely no proofs of my alleged crimes.) im going to file an appeal to try and overturn this ruling. Ill be even curating other opinions on here from previous customs along with my experience and will be contacting the American bar association. This is people's lives don't try to write them off cause you dont wanna do your job or just assume every case is the same. Thats not professional in anyway.

All I got to say is vouga is a badass He's better than any lawyer I ever had and Barnes paid $150 got me out of a ticket
