They charge high fees for basic paperwork and offer no relief. Emails and phone calls, yes each call and each email has a high fee and took about 10 minutes of their time. It was like I was making a car payment every week! I ended up spending a small fortune for attorney fees like others. I did not receive a single payment in child support until a year later after hiring my attorney. My ex, whom is not even my husband ended up paying about 10% of this earnings and nothing extra. I ended up giving up and letting him make all the decisions because the case was dragging on so long that I couldn't afford to keep it going without any child support coming in. For a working mother caring for her 8 year old son all these years with no support it seems unfair that this process is as lengthy as it is. If I could go back I would NEVER have hired this firm. Perhaps if the charges were high and I had a more satisfying outcome I could understand. It will take me 4 years to recover these fees to payoff the lawyer. The goal was to start child support and have relief. Instead I have spent thousands and still owe thousands. No relief and the child support amount, process (never even made it to court) ,charges (emails, drafts, etc) are ridiculous fees. Again, for a working mother looking for relief on child support this is not the firm for you. They over-charge, and are unprofessional for the supposed support they should offer at a high rate. No relief.

RUN!! incompetence my lawyer was Rita and I paid $20,000 on this case and got nothing. she gave me a sales pitch at the beginning that I was entitled to all this stuff. Then once money came she changed her story and started working for the ex it seemed. I came out and said who are you working for here when we were at court. The ex cheated and abused me and all i got was the automatic 20% on child support - I have 2 special needs kids and this lawyer could not get anything i needed - all she could do was send me a bill for emails. she even made a change behind my back in the papers after i left court to get my ex to pay court costs to her instead of to me. NOW - 3 1/2 years later i am getting an abusive collection notice from Wakenight. I paid $20,000 myself and she still billed him for another $5,000. I met with the lawyer ONE TIME the day of court. i have had litigation with the ex since then at a 1/4 of the bill and favorable outcome - however i can never go back to the divorce decree and get what i lost then. so it matters who you choose - Run away fast! Behaved as an adversary. First atty Hurley left the firm, then atty Fish cozied up with ex's atty. When Judge Schuster intentionally "lost" the case paperwork, fumbled around meaningfully, and LAUGHED about the situation, my ex's attorney laughed, and atty M. Fish also laughed at my predicament. They ALL LAUGHED IN COURT OPENLY. If you want to experience betrayal and humiliation I must recommend them. There was a 3rd party attorney who influenced the judge, so perhaps NO attorney could have saved me from having my family destroyed or recover half of what the ex stole. This firm might be able to represent a woman in divorce court, but I would advise men that NO attorney is a better choice. It's almost 6 years now since my bloodbath and I still regret being foolish enough to think ANY atty would actually work on my behalf.

Worst attorney ever. Do not hire Gonzalo for any of your matters. You’ll be stuck with a ridiculously high bill and nothing will get done. Lazy, no effort, no passion for his work. Rude office staff on top of everything else P.S. My husband was a client, Kathy, and I’ve had several interactions with the staff myself regarding the case! So this reply is worthless and my review stands.
