I have been so pleased with Amber and her entire office. Although my case is not concluded they have been there every step of the way with compassion, professionalism and strategically maneuvering through my somewhat complicated case. A matrimonial attorney is a choice you make and I’m so glad I selected Ambers office to handle my case. They’ve made this whole process easier on me and have taken a huge load off my shoulders. Worst experience ever. The attorney I got stuck with, ADAM VANHEYST, was absolutely terrible. Constantly sent redundant emails and made repeated phone calls discussing the same issues over and over just doing the billable hours impressing the partners. He would NOT listen or hear. He had his own agenda and did not ever have his client in his best interest. This attorney was by far useless. Upon firing him, my new attorney could not believe how horrible his work was and obvious it was he was just banking hours to make money off of me and my terrible situation. My new attorney got done in one week what this bad attorney could not in four months. Any firm who hires lawyers like him needs to be avoided. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Since April of 2022 I have worked with Meredith Bettenhauser in my divorce proceedings. Meredith handled my case with the knowledge, confidence and professionalism that every client deserves, In addition she went above and beyond day after day. Every turn in this case was met with ghastly inappropriate, unprofessional behavior from the opposite side. Meredith made sure to keep me in the loop and calm my nerves. This should have been simple; it was far from that. She knows what she is doing, and she knows the law. Meredith fought my case and did not settle or let me. The staff at Clark Peshkin working with Meredith also deserve recognition. I believe the whole team dealt with the unpleasantries of this case at one point or another. I thank Meredith for everything she accomplished for me. I will recommend Clark Peshkin & Meredith to anyone that needs family law/divorce representation.

I read reviews of what a great firm this was to work with, which is why I chose them to handle my divorce. I was extremely disappointed with the firm. In the year that it took to finalize the divorce, I had 3 lawyers. I liked the first one but she quit the practice so I was given a second lawyer. That lawyer also quit the practice so I was given a third lawyer. I was rarely told what was happening throughout the process. Then after all that apparently one of the partners left the practice, at least that is my assumption from receiving the last of my paperwork with a name dropped off who they are. The only good thing is that my divorce is finally final.

Lydia took over my case after I was unsatisfied with my prior representation at another law firm. I was so thankful for her. She was always available, even when I had to contact her on a holiday weekend. She knew my priority was my son and his safety. I trusted her, knowing she understood I was dealing with complete chaos (the other party). I can't thank her enough and it's good to know I can still always call with questions and support.
