Mr. Richard Gonzalez represented me in 2006 to 2008 in an employment discrimination case. I was in my early 20s and moved from Las Vegas to start a job but once they saw I was black they never let me start. I was taking classes at a local community college and the Professor told me to get legal help and recommended Chicago Kent. My case was accepted and I had absolutely no money, and Mr. Gonzalez never cared about that. He represented me like I was paying him $1000 an hour. He always returned my calls and e-mails and during our final negotiations with the other party, he commanded the whole room to give attention to me and he let me speak. The Career Services Office is excellent; there are several staff members who are specialized in different areas to help students succeed outside the classroom. The students are also brilliant, and I feel very lucky to be a part of this legal community!
