Flagship Homes

We had a great experience with Flagship Homes! Cortney was great to work with. Very on top of it & answered all our questions. Loved all the walk throughs. Everyone was very kind & professional. They took care of any concerns we had with our house and got done in the amount of time they said. We signed in October I think & moved in in February! They weren’t able to do a ramp in the garage for us, for my son who uses a wheelchair, like the originally said they would, so that was a bummer but we love our home!! I would definitely recommend Flagship Homes!

Flagship has been a wild ride these last months as we built our home with them. This is the second home we’ve built in the last 2 years, so we’ve been through the ropes and know how things go. Make no mistake, we are happy with the way our home turned out, but the process in getting to this point was 100x more difficult than it should have been. From the very beginning we were very on top of everything, took notes, and made sure we kept all our ducks in a row from our side, doing what we needed to do as quick as possible. In working with Shawn in Silver Lake we had nothing but trouble in trying to get quality communication, accurate updates, fixes taken care of, and everything in between. Though we do understand the moving parts of construction, it seems that flagship is far too accepting of the potential for moving parts and is very hands off with the the subs during the construction process. We had given corrections of things that were drawn up wrong from before the house even started being built that we relayed to Shawn, and other corrections along the way, multiple times where we simply were told ‘not to worry’ or that ‘it would be fixed’ that ended up getting built wrong anyway that they had to go back and fix or ignored all together. We would visit our lot multiple times a week to check things, and had we not done that, our house would either not be the house it is or would have taken another month to build. We were never given any updates from Flagship and Shawn on our home without previously soliciting said updates all the way until the end of our process when we were getting the updates from others first anyway. Communication was awful, flagship doesn’t know how to deal with the moving parts of the process well, and it is absolutely critical that as the buyer you stay on top of everything if you want things to turn out. Once again, happy with our home, very unhappy with the process to get here. It was a huge pain to get what we paid for. And last but not least, we have been moved in for a week now and Flagship still hasn’t even put in our mailbox, which according to the Postal Service should have been done a good while ago.

We are extremely happy with how our Flagship home turned out! This is the 4th home we have lived in and one of our favorites. We worked with Danny and only have good things to say about him! He returned all of our calls, emails and texts quickly and professionally. He even took the time to do FaceTime calls to show us details about the house so we didn't have to make the long drive here with kids. Danny followed through with everything we wanted and made sure things got done quickly and accurately. The quality of work throughout the house is excellent and the floorpan is perfect- lots of living space but also tons of storage.

Flagship has some great floorplans which is the only reason I don't entirely regret building a home with them. Many of their sub-contractors are unprofessional and have zero respect for the existing properties surrounding the one they are currently working. Some of them also have a tendency to cut corners when building the homes and Flagship is frustratingly slow at remedying the situation. To top things off, despite telling us over and over that we could do what we wanted with our yard as soon as we take possession, they are now claiming that we can't until neighboring foundations are poured. This was never indicated in anything we signed with them.Very shady practices.

what a nightmare of a builder. get ready for them to not listen to anything you say and do so so much wrong.
