I was recently offered employment at Woods Oviatt Gilman as a Default Services Clerk. The process was extremely straightforward and fast; within two weeks of applying, I had been contacted by their Talent Acquisition Specialist, Derek, for an initial phone call. This was soon followed by an in-person meeting with him and lastly an interview with two department leads and the office manager. What stood out to me in the hiring process was Derek’s approachability and the firm’s focus on “fit.” All the interviewers were extremely friendly, and I felt they were genuinely trying to get to know me rather than put me on the spot or grill me. There were two different openings for the same type of clerk position, so I got to hear about the work in each and ultimately see which was a better fit for me. I also appreciated how involved Derek was within the hiring process (including being present at the final interview), and how responsive he was with all my questions. I am very happy with my hiring experience at Woods Oviatt Gilman and look forward to joining the team soon!

I recently applied, interviewed and was accepted for a clerk position with Woods Oviatt Gilman. I saw the opportunity online after hearing about the firm from a friend of mine who does paralegal work elsewhere. I was initially contacted by Derek, the talent acquisition specialist, about conducting a phone interview. He instantly made me feel comfortable and was extremely informative about the position at hand. From there, I met him in person at the beautiful spacious office. This experience was no different and he again made me feel at ease and asked some important questions for the position. Finally, I met with the team leaders, learned more about each specific position they were hiring for, and eventually was presented an offer that I was very happy to accept! They were prompt at responding, and I would absolutely recommend keeping an eye out for open positions at this firm.

I have recently been offered employment at Woods Oviatt after several months of interviewing and job hunting. I have to say the interview process was extremely positive for me. I left my interview with Derek and some of the default team smiling because of how comfortable I felt. Derek has been in constant contact with me about everything and readily available to answer all my questions. Not once have I felt "left hanging" or confused. Everything has been extremely professional and positive. I am excited to start this journey and grateful for the opportunity with Woods Oviatt.

The hiring process at Woods Oviatt Gilman is excellent. The first two interviews conducted by Derek were very easygoing and comfortable. I was given ample information about the firm and discussed how past work experiences could help me be a great fit with certain teams in the Default Services department. Derek answered any questions I had thoroughly and was very quick to respond to emails. The third interview I had was also with the Operations Manager and one of the team leads, who were both outgoing and explained what the responsibilities of the job would be. Overall, the entire interviewing process is very well-designed and welcoming.

I had a very pleasant experience with the hiring and interview process with Woods Oviatt Gilman. The team was very responsive, professional, and accommodating. Communication was open and the process moved fairly quickly.
