B.J. seemed to anticipate what my needs would be moving forward and took care of things all along the way, enabling me to proceed without worrying about it every step of the way. This law firm took a $2500 retainer and could never get the job done. A simple, agreeable divorce. The draft agreements were cheap boilerplate with so many errors. When I asked for a rewrite, BJ Abbott dropped me like a hot potato. The next attorney I saw said that he is known for just that thing - charges a client, starts the process, then but never finishing the work. Avoid this firm-save your money and go elsewhere.

BJ has represented me four times over 12 years in different matters of the same divorce including the initial divorce which went through a successful mediation, a child support modification, and two more recent modification of custody to address a difficult family situation. He always has a good perspective on the possible outcomes and provides reasonable and caring advice. He leads a professional and experienced team that will take good care of you and your case.

Abbott and Abbott firm was horrible. They did nothing but bully me. They lied to me. They billed me astronomical amounts and then didn’t follow through or listen to me. In NO WAY could the represent me in court. When I fired them, they sent a cruel email attacking me and “lost” the thousands of dollars they owed me. It took weeks to get it back after they lied about it and tried to keep it. DO NOT HIRE THEM. After I let them go they also bad mouthed me to other attorneys who, had no problem taking me on as a client anyway due to Abbott’s rude and aggressive history he has with those he disagree with.
