I had no idea what to expect going through a family matter, but Tom Walker reassured me and helped me through it. I was treated so kindly from the first day when I met Mary in the office. Being a very positive upbeat and overall a very happy lady throughout my life. Unfortunately some really bad luck came into my path. I met a person that initially I felt sorry for then within a very short amount of time he took my heart and twisted it along with making me feel like everything was my fault. I've always been a strong independent woman and in a million years nobody could have convinced me that' somehow I would let a covert narcissist come into my life and make me feel so very horrible. Consequently an incident happened between the two of us which put me in a bad place. Without going into a very long story The Two Of Us swapped paint going down US1. Because he had 4 people in his truck and I was the only one in my car I was the one who got in trouble which led me to Albagh Law Firm. I was being charged with four counts of aggravated assault with deadly weapon being my car. From the moment I walked into Albaugh Law Firm they took me under their wing and took care of me. They got 3 charges dropped and they worked diligently on getting a Pretrial intervention contract which means I'm not going to plea guilty or not guilty, nothing no plea. Had a year to complete the contract and was done in 6 months. Just a side note my Attorney was as happy as I was when he got me the contract. I can say he was happier than some of my own family members. Court date I was extremely nervous until he arrived and soothed my fears. The law firm let me pay 1/2 the day we got started and 1/2 a couple weeks later which I so appreciated. I will say it was a very small price to pay for my freedom. I could have been looking at a very long prison sentence. I'm a mom of three boys and my oldest is autistic which is closest to me. Its been over 5 yes now and I still get shivers down my spine thinking about what could have happened. Even though I completed my contract and there was no plea oh, unfortunately there were some undesirable pictures from jail as well as the information out there on what I was charged with which could complicate getting a new job. I contacted the law firm and spoke with Mary. Explain my situation and she was delighted to help me. It was very important to me too do an expungement first because I was wanting to find a new job but even more important I just wanted this mistake not to haunt me rest of my life. The process was very easy on my part because Mary and the attorney did the work and all I had to do is come in a couple times and sign a couple papers and get my fingerprints which was actually funny because the police officers we're very nice and even cracking a couple jokes. They didn't specifically know why I was getting fingerprinted and didn't really ask. It took only a couple months Mary called me and said it was done and the court approve my expungement which words will never be able to explain how much it means to me that that mistake is off my record.
