My brother in law hired Mr Pino for a work related injury because he told him he could get his medical bills lowered and get compensation for pain and suffering. After he signed the contract Mr Pino stopped answering his calls and had no time for an appointment. He didn’t put a lien on the hospital bills or submit them to the insurance company so he went in to collections. We got a second opinion and were told any compensation for pain and suffering didn’t meet the legal requirements and Mr Pino lied to us to get us to sign the contract. When we tried to fire him he submitted all the hospital bills we had given him (without negotiating with the hospital to have them lowered.) and now says he’s entitled to his fee ‘for all the work he’s done’ . He put a lien on the insurance company payout so if my brother in law wants his hospital bills paid Mr Pino is still going to get paid for doing nothing except messing up his credit and on top of it he owes the difference on the bills after Mr Pino’s cut. Don’t hire this lawyer he only screws over his clients.
