Allaire Elder Law is responsible for the amazing position our 93 year Mom is in now! Stephen Allaire and his knowlegable staff helped is to deal with legal issues, hospital and rehab issues, Assisted Living selection and paperwork as well as bill payment management. Our Mom is now in a wonderful Assisted Living home where she is comfortable and happy. Stephen is patient and explains carefully how to deal with the long list of situations that come with having a parent in their 90's. It is a terrible thing to outlive your assets. My sisters and I were referred to Attorney Allaire in order to plan for the caring of our now 96 year old mother. We realized that, even with all the help available from resources like the Senior Center, etc., we needed the expertise of a professional, knowledgeable in elder law. We dealt with a myriad of complex issues such as the will, advanced directives, real estate, Veterans Administration benefits, live in care providers and their agency, involvements with the Plan of Connecticut and finally Medicaid. Dealing with the Federal and State of Connecticut agencies is complex and confusing at times. Whenever I was confused or frustrated with the volumes of paperwork, she assured me things would work out well, and she was always right. Our Mom is still living at home, happily, and we have to thank the wonderful staff members of Allaire Elder Law for their skill, knowledge and expertise in making this happen.
