Allen E. Schwartz

Allen E. Schwartz is a total jerk and a completely incompetent attorney. I hired him to represent me for an ex-parte order of protection in April 2017. He did nothing but want to do a bridge order for 6 months. After the 6 months we went back to court and the petitioner claimed I had contacted her via text messages. So he suggested another 6 month bridge order which I reluctantly agreed to, due to the fact he said it would be dismissed after the 6 months. Well...we went to court today and there hadn't been any violations on my part, but my ex claimed I had texted her again. None of the alleged texts were threatening nor could she show proof that I even sent them. She deleted the texts and couldn't produce phone records to verify them. Mr. Schwartz decided that another bridge order was the best thing to do even after the judge said he didn't see cause for the order of protection nor had she shown proof as to her claims as to why she was "in fear" of me. The judge asked Mr Schwartz what he would like to do, and he suggested the 6 month bridge or again against my wishes and even after the judge was suggesting that he ask for it to be dismissed. So I fired him right there on the spot and will be representing myself on the next court appearance. My 7 year old twins put up a better argument for what they want than Allen Schwartz did for me. I wouldn't recommend him for any type of defense nor take any of his advice. He's very disrespectful and down talked me at 43 years old like I was a child. He is a worthless attorney and doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful. STEER CLEAR OF HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!

He is a great lawyer. He went above and beyond my expectations.

Mr. Schwartz was very professional and well prepared. He handled a case for me and my brother a couple of years ago and I was very satisfied. He always returned my phone calls within a day and gave good advice that really helped. I plan to use him again shortly as well on another matter and will add that review as well.
