THE BEST ATTORNEYS!!! I could not have asked for better attorneys when I hired Andee and Mali to represent me in my divorce. I was referred to them by an estate attorney that I know and trust and from the first phone call I knew I was in great hands. They are critical thinkers, know the law, are well respected by the judges, truly care about their clients and will get results. I was very pleased with my divorce settlement but more importantly they fought hard for the protection and care of my children which was my top priority. They literally think of EVERYTHING. Going to court can be stressful but these 2 attorneys were well prepared and took the time to understand my case. I have referred several friends and acquaintances to Andee and Mali and they have had the same wonderful experiences I did. I will forever be grateful to them both.

Hiring Stephanie Weil and the team at Hastings Shadmehry Wright LLC was the best decision I made. Stephanie listened carefully, championed, advocated and effectively obtained a favorable outcome for my case. No detail was overlooked in my divorce settlement and Stephanie ensured my interests were protected. Stephanie addressed all of my concerns and questions, always responding promptly to emails and phone calls. She demonstrated an ability to respond with patience and provided guidance based on her professional knowledge. I would highly recommend Stephanie for any area of family law!

All I can say is Beware. You will be treated as if you know nothing and your attorney knows everything. When you try to leave, your deposit will be used up with bogus charges so they can not return it to you. I paid my invoices on time, in full every month so I did not expect any of this to be the case. I am very disappointed to say this is what happened to me. I would recommend you seek another firm.

*I used Heather C Wright in a 2 year divorce/child custody and found her decision making to be arbitrary and capricious. Ms. Heather C Wright has a business law firm but also takes family law cases in which my ex and I unfortunately had to deal with her for 2+ years (until early 2016) as she served as our children’s guardian ad litem (GAL). What ensued were outrageous legal bills (where she overbilled and invoiced us for inquiring about her invoices and charged us for her billing errors), long delays (18 months to generate a weak 14 page report that was not strong enough or thorough for court and should have been completed in less than 3 months), time management issues (she was late for every meeting, phone call, and even mediation and once billed me when she returned my email telling me she was on another call and was going to be late for my planned phone call. ) My largest complaint is Ms. Wright’s inability to deal with sensitive issues of parenting and child custody. Ms. Wright did not/does not have children and it was evident in her lack of understanding the basic needs of young children and her lack of response to health related questions and concerns. I felt as though she took on a couple of volunteer cases and then considered herself an expert on child custody making such horrendous decisions or recommendations as having parents move out of home while kids stay (yes she recommended this), splitting children up, unaware of school schedule and daycare issues, Her lack of knowledge of family issues such as young children’s medical and emotional needs and making decisions based on her like or dislike of a particular parents behavior towards her was unethical and illustrating her lack of experience in family law. I found her to be hot headed, abrupt, favoring bullying tactics (once threatening to contact my parish priest if I showed up at church when my ex did), unprofessional and was unprepared for court. I am duty bound to inform others that I would NEVER recommend Heather C Wright in any family law case particularly dealing with child custody. SEEK A LAWYER (OR GAL) WHO WORKS SOLELY IN FAMILY LAW, check online the number of cases they have tried and what judges they have had cases under and find out if they have children of their own (Heather Wright does not which may explain her lack of empathy and insensitivity for family structure. She did more harm to my children’s physical and emotional health and seemed more concerned with ensuring we never set foot in a court room or face a judge.). Ms. Wright seemed inexperienced, changed rules along the way and certainly didn’t have the children’s best interest in mind. I have written emails and phone calls to substantiate my claims. By the way she CONTINUED TO BILL ME AFTER THE CASE WAS CLOSED AND DIVORCE FINALIZED AND CUSTODY SETTLED and threatened legal action. To date, I have not dealt with anyone as unprofessional, hostile and arrogant as Ms. Wright. Ms. Wright never interviewed a single person on my side of the family yet billed monthly invoices for her legal services. One invoice had a $1200 fee for phone calls to "various individuals" that were unidentified. She often delayed responses to inquiries unless they were related to billing. By the way, I am the custodial parent and the parent Ms. Wright praised in her GAL report so imagine what my ex thinks of her. Run don’t walk away from this attorney. I would never trust Ms. Heather C. Wright's family law advice nor use her in any capacity of family law. *I do not have experience using the other two "partners", Hastings and Shadmehry, of this firm.
