Reviews

Scott Ballard went above and beyond to handle our situation! What we thought would take months to do he was able to accomplish within a few days ! Him and his team’s professionalism was beyond our expectations ! If you’re looking for someone to get the job done we highly recommend him and his team!
I would give no stars, very unethical and malicious. All that matters is money, signed a contract with incorrect information. I would call and leave voicemail to inquire information on a case and wouldn’t get a response or call back. I live in Austin, Tx and had to drive to his office due to negligence on lack of communication to at least get updated on the case. I finally did my research and in reality all I needed to do was more simple than that it was. His focus is only the criminal side which is understandable but for him to say he doesn’t care of what ever else is outside his scope is concerning. For the amount he charges (which is not low), I would never recommend anyone who doest’t take the time to show interest for his clients. This review is based of Travis Fleetwood work ethic.
This was our first encounter with an attorney and it was an awful experience. We were talked to very rudely and belittling. Never knew the status of our case and we had to continue to call or email for any updates and received ugly responses. Definitely felt like he did not have our side thru most of this as he always stated” Do u really want to mess with that.” Several things were left out of our court order and had to have it modified 3 different times just to get it all right. When we brought this to his attention he tries to tell us we were wrong and so we had to get a different order to show him we were correct. If u decide to use him please just be cautious as we spent lots, lots, lots.
Do NOT use Scott Ballard. I repeat DO NOT use Scott Ballard! I will try to make this as short as possible. My 1 and a half year old was going to daycare at a place called “Wee Care For All” her shoes got dirty so during outside playtime they sent my daughter outside without shoes on, in the middle of summer in 100° weather. They called me luckily it was on my work phone so I had the whole thing recorded. It was on the news you can look it up it made worldwide news. Took my baby to the hospital she had 2nd degree burns on her feet. I hired Scott to file a lawsuit. I waited 3 whole years with zero progress. I emailed and called so many times and no response. Finally I decided to pull out I emailed on a Friday and funny enough his assistant I think Kayla was her name said “We have been working with the insurance company all week that would have resulted in a settlement, but we wish you good luck in all your future endeavors”. Wait what??? If that was the case then they would have called to work with me because that would have been money for them. Don’t trust these people they lie so much. Waited 3 whole years for absolutely nothing. Might want to look into Scott’s background too, the whole town knows about the skeletons in his closet.
Scott Ballard and his assistant Kayla Jackson did a very good job for me on a commercal matter. They communicated well pre trial, were prepared when we went to trial, followed up on our win and have been very helpful with cleaning up the mess left by the claimant. I would use them again and have recommended them to my clients.
