Daniel O. Hands

Visited the attorney in December of 2021 to file a quit claim deed. Paid him $300. He said he’d mail us the final document from the county once he received it. Several months passed and I wondered if my boyfriend’s name was put on the deed so I called Cook County and asked about the quit claim deed and they said they never received it. For about a month, we called his office, sent emails, instant messages via his website, asking about the status of our claim and no one has ever gotten back to us. At first, I assumed Cook County had lost our paperwork but the fact that his office refuses to give us an explanation tells me they flat out stole our money.

My husband and I contacted Dan Hands to create our wills, Powers of Attorney, etc. Dan and his staff were very thorough and professional. Our documents were completed within 3 weeks and met our goals completely. I would recommend Dan highly.

I originally contacted Daniel Hands on 1/26/15. I contacted Daniel Hands every week for a month only yo find out he still had not sent out a simple letter requesting proof of a will. I even did the leg work and got all of the information he needed to send the letter. Each time I called him he assured me it would be done by Friday or by tomorrow. Needless to say, the letter was never sent and I am no longer working with Daniel Hands. If you are looking to get something accomplished, look elsewhere.

Dan was great! He helped me establish special needs trust for my daughter as well as helped me with a will and power of attorney, over a month's time (I was slow figuring out where I wanted what). He was very reasonably priced and compassionate to special needs. He has a special needs daughter so he knows what it's like to be a SN parent. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dan!

Literally disappeared! He was supposed to be handling a legal matter for me. When I didn't hear from him, I tried reaching out. NO way of leaving a message, I also tried Facebook, and other avenues. Nothing! BEWARE he will disappear with no explanation!
