I had her as my attorney through a visitation/ custody case. She showed up super late one time and forgot we had court. She didn’t show up one time due to being in the hospital which is understandable but didn’t tell me until 5 minutes before we had to go into the court room. I paid her a lot of money if we went to trial and we never did the case got closed and now she won’t respond to my emails or phone calls to get the balance she never used back. She is very unorganized, she tells you one thing and promises it until you get into the court room and says something completely different to the judge. And goes behind your back to the other party and there lawyer and says stuff that was never true just to keep the case going.

Barbara handled a very complicated divorce with diligence and professionalism. She even was able to compel the judge to keep the process moving, when outside influences were happy to delay it. She is a criminal lawyer first, but still found the time to complete the many steps necessary to complete the process. Unlike some who will communicate with you regularly to keep billing you, she only reached out to me when it was important information. She's detailed and prepared in front of the judge.

If I could.give less than a star I would. I had a simple divorce, no kids, no intermingled money, no shared assets. I had to constantly call for updates , nag her to contact my ex husband's lawyer, remind her that my car even existed pretty much . I asked for my.final bill a month and a half ago and I JUST got it. I would never use this lawyer. Ever.

Really bad service. I paid this Lady a lot of money up front for my divorce and I have been waiting for months now to hear back from her. Does not return any of my calls or messages. Do Not use her! !!

She was amazing, thorough, tough and kind.
