Very dismissive of my concerns and didn’t take a minute to listen before interrupting me and talking to me like I was stupid. I was a litigation specialist for 21 years. I have a pretty good idea of how to read and respond to court filings and how to conduct legal research. I felt like he felt I was some trashy person trying to just get money for nothing. He told me he wouldn’t help me and that’s fine but to be that dismissive wasn’t necessary
When I first met Graham, my gut told me he was trustworthy. So I followed his guide with complete faith in the case, and I remember saying to him: “I trust you in many ways! “?”you are my shepherd! “?These sentences expressed both my confidence in him and my expectation of him. In the following year, he showed distinguished talent in Courage, Judgment, Strategies, and Expertise, and I appreciate and admire his brilliant hits. He is a good shepherd because His heart and sense always strive to do it Right and to be a Protector! Evenly Is the most effective assistant, meticulous, and considerate, professional!
My experience with Barr &Young Attorneys was very positive. Loren Barr gave me excellent counsel in a very challenging matter. Attorney Graham Douds provided outstanding legal guidance ongoingly and the support staff was always courteous and professional. Loren’s entire team helped me attain an excellent outcome in a very difficult legal circumstance.
Mr. Barr was contacted regarding my mother's trust. Rather than providing a calm and reasoned approach, he instigated a dispute between beneficiaries. Mr. Barr's demeanor smacked of someone trying to create conflict where none should exist. He claimed that my mother's house wasn't properly titled and that other issues in the trust would require court filings, all of which would drive up the legal fees. Contrary to his assertion, the house is properly titled (the county has verified as much) and the other "issues" he mentioned are all considered trivial under California trust law. None of them require the efforts he implied were necessary. He also claimed that my paying household bills such as PG&E, EBMUD and homeowner's insurance was "inappropriate" though he offered no alternative. My mother's home has tenants who I'm fairly certain appreciate power and water. Following a parent's death, it would seem appropriate to be calm and reassuring to those of us grieving. Mr. Barr created a family storm of anxiety and animus that was entirely unnecessary. His demeanor was callous and his behavior was destructive.
Graham Douds is beyond amazing! His ability to take in the facts and separate the nonsense was such a big help in our case. Barr and Young really came through for us during a very difficult and emotional time.
