Bate & Bate

Zero recommend. Did not try to work with the prosecutor to get a better he went with the first plea they ordered. Also, asking about getting my license back he does not know the laws. He told me to contact the state I'm in to try and see if they would just give me my driver's license back which is illegal per all the other attorneys I've contacted. Then told me he couldn't help with that since my suspension is out of IN and I need a KY attorney. Definitely not true at all since the suspension is out of Indiana. Requested preferred contact email which is unprofessional since $3000 is a lot of money to just get emails from his assistant all the time. Check around for other attorneys that will try getting the best deal for you and actually go back and forth with a prosecutor instead of taking the money and going with the first plea!!! Worst attorney to go with and that's not just my opinion that is the opinions of several other attorneys in Indianapolis, in!

If I could give him 0 stars I would! He’s a real jerk. He hasn’t helped my fiancé with anything! All he wants is to make his “clients” take plea deals to make his job easier because he’s absolutely LAZY and worthless. He doesn’t answer or return phone calls. Don’t know how he can even call himself a lawyer. Also he is so rude when you talk to him, always having an attitude and he hangs up on us. Piece of garbage.

Worst attorney I have ever had the displeasure of depending on. Never returned a single phone call after the retainer was paid, but sure did bill me for an awful lot of phone calls to my ex-husband‘s attorney that I had no knowledge of. He never once fought for any of my twice monthly court ordered visits with my horses that my ex-husband continually denied me. As a matter of fact, he never fought for anything that would’ve benefited me. Again, a lot of phone calls to my ex-husband’s attorney that he billed me for. Also billed me to “review” my emails but never responded to any of them. I requested a copy of my file on 3 different occasions and 2 years later still don’t have them. This guy “represented” me for 4 months and I wouldn’t know him if I walked past him on the street. Never even met with him in 4 months?

One of the best Attorneys I have ever had. Honest, detailed. Jeff Bate is a man of integrity. He knows how to fight for those he represents. Top notch.

Always wanting to plea. No fight for the client whatsoever. My personal grade for this attorney is a F! Would not recommend under any circumstances. I wish I could give a better review but the truth is the truth.
