I sat in on a meeting with my cousin and her lawyer Spencer because she felt like she needed the extra support. When I was there he presented himself in a polite manner but as he surveyed my cousin, he had a very sarcastic and condescending tone towards her answers. He was also asking her for information she had already sent a head of time. He had not seem to have read any of the information she sent him about the case. To add, he didn’t even know the date and time of the case. When my cousin mentioned trying to move to North Carolina he was already negative about it before she even got a chance to discuss her reasons. He shared he was going through something similar and seems to have his personal feelings about his situation conflicting with her case. A week before the case he called her while she was at my place. On the phone he carried the same condescending attitude that he had at their meeting. The day of the trial, he canceled the case without even negotiating her custody concerns with the other lawyer. These were fair and justified concerns even if he didn’t discuss North Carolina. He didn’t even ask her permission to dismiss the case. She had tried emailing him and contacting him about it and he doesn’t respond to her. He also didn’t respond much to her emails throughout the case. She didn’t feel confident that he had her best interest through most of the case and he proved her right. He didn’t even call any of her witnesses. I only got to say my piece because I came with her to the only meeting they had before the case. He also didn’t negotiate some of her custody concerns, even the ones he agreed should be revised. He made her feel like he was doing her a favor (yes she was paying him) but had not done much to help her.

After having experience with three different attorneys in Loudoun County, I can say that I finally found the right match. A firm with integrity, intelligence and a commitment to their clients. Elizabeth Ross was fantastic to work with. She was very responsive, focused, and knowledgeable about the divorce process. Never did she cause undue delays (added expenses like other attorneys). Her paralegal, Jenny, was always helpful, pleasant and easy to work with as well. Elizabeth was calm and professional during what can only be called a very stressful storm, and I would highly recommend her and her team.

I wonder if she still holds a license. I honestly have a different concept of what an attorney is and what they can do for the sake of money. Disgusting!

I had a situation where I needed a lawyer for a personal matter. Spencer won the case for me in a spectacular fashion. The opposing counsel went on and on but Spencer's thorough and deep understanding of the law made him pinpoint what is important and relevant and what the judge needed to hear to win the case for me. I was so happy that day. In my opinion, he is the best in his business. If you are looking for an attorney, look no more. Just hire Spencer. He is your man... I will forever be in his debt for what he did for me. He is just an amazing lawyer!

I strongly recommend this firm, specifically Elizabeth Ross. Working with her and her paralegal Jenny Peshoff through the negotiations of my separation agreement and final court submissions made a very difficult and emotional process so much easier and comforting. Ms. Ross was very upfront about my chances but very encouraging for what ended up being the best outcome for me. Very reassuring when I was being discouraged, funny when I needed a little laugh and very responsive and professional.
