Reviews

After a response I got back from the feedback I gave regarding my second interview and after reviewing what employees have said, I am writing about my interview experience because some lessons need to be learned for middle management and their abusive ways. I recently had a 2 part interview with Bell Legal Group. I was rejected for the position because they said I didn't qualify which is a lie or that others were more qualified than me. As a person who has already won cases with FDIC and JPMorgan and Chase and won monetary rewards along with promotions, is a part of the intelligence community, and has won cases over Lawyers while not being a lawyer, I knew exactly what happened. I was judged unfairly. The first interview was good. Ms. Lewis's objectives were clear and I could see what the need was when it came to the case manager position. But the second interview was done with Ms. Lewis and 2 other women who I could tell were not looking for the same things Ms. Lewis was looking for. I was not judged for my abilities nor did they care what I could bring to the table. The head woman gave me pushback more than once when I made it clear being on the Camp Lejeune case for a few years would be ok. The questioning was easy and not well thought out, but it didn't matter if my answers showed I was a critical thinker or what. It's all subjective. They want you to pick up unspoken codes and do things exactly how they want you to without making it clear. They are not looking for people who can handle Camp Lejeune cases. I can tell by the way the woman looked at my resume she was impressed but she downplayed my achievements. Nothing new. But what they were not aware of is that I'm interviewing them as well. The other woman followed her lead and often looked down. It made me nervous. So I decided to look at reviews. Man, these people have a horrible reputation for treating their workers unfairly. Everything is a 2 star. This is what happens when you get people are do not invest in their education or their craft and they seek out weak people for job security. I know I am way overqualified for the job and I have extensive customer service background. Camp Lejeune is not complicated but people need answers and they need to understand exactly where they are as individuals and as a collective. Even the customers have issues. What needs to happen is HR needs to be evaluated as well as middle management. There shouldn't be a high turnover rate and people who hate their job. It's case management which is a service job for social help and social change. If you are making employees miserable and targeting people in the hiring process, maybe this job is not for you. What I would love to happen is for the CEO and VP to look at my resume and question the 3 interviewers about what didn't qualify me. I am certain they would love to hear it and so would I.

Reached Kevin update on claim. 5months for Camp Lejeune to decide to pay claim then file with Federal Courts will require copies of medical records & documentation.

My wife and I have been dealing with Bell Legal Group for over a year. We have a valid claim based on my father-in-law. We call and email and no one returns calls. I am hoping if they see this review that they will contact my wife Pam. If you are looking for a company to represent you I would recommend you look at another company. We get robo-solicited by email non-stop but cannot get anyone to contact us back.

I've been a client with BLG now for a while since I starting dealing with the Camp Lejeune Justice Act. Many times I have spoken with them on the phone and I have visited their office in person where I was able to speak with Mr. Bell & staff. Every interaction I've had with them has been nothing but polite, professional and informative. It's also reassuring that they sincerely care about their clients. They are also very transparent and informative with their three times a week Zoom meetings along with delivering a lot of information on their private Facebook page. Thank you BLG for your hard work and dedication to this cause.
