Reviews

Attorney Alan Belsky spent considerable time learning about my legal issue, and was very gracious with his time in providing his thoughts in significant detail. He cited relevant law, read a case I raised, and even called me back after reading it, as promised. Mr. Belsky has a wealth of knowledge rarely seen, experience, and clarity of approach suited for top representation. He told me the truth, not what I hoped to hear, but I would rather not waste money and time on a matter unlikely to yield the desired result. It is rare to find an attorney like Mr. Belsky. Speaking with him confirmed that my high expectations of an attorney can actually be met. I highly recommend him!
I presented my case to Mr Belsky: a house in the process of being sold through bankruptcy, even though I am living in it with my young children. I was overwhelmed because I thought I was running out of time and did not have any option. Mr Belsky listened to me patiently; he explained the legal process in simple word and presented my options. All along, he shared some words of wisdom, joked and did not lack a reassuring word. He is a very compassionate man. I thought I was facing an unsurmountable situation when I called his office, but now I know my options and I have the best attorney on my side. I highly recommend anyone who has legal matters in his areas of expertise to reach out to him.
Picking a lawyer is an important decision. This is an emotional and stressful time in your life, usually. We chose this firm because they care about you! It is not about the money! Being new to this court/trail experience, our first, what was the most important aspect of picking the best attorney (which you will understand at the end) is how good BWH is in regard to litigation/trial skills! Without going into the specifics of the case, we found them to be completely focused on the facts of the case meaning, they were sympathetic to our situation but also when it came to "the law" and what mattered to the court system and how to best approach the case, we could not have chosen better representation. They conferred with us throughout the case making sure we understood what was happening (conveying legal ease to laymen terms we understood). While we were emotional, like most, they weren't which was very important in the court room. There were a lot of facts in the case which required understanding of different facets such as: business rules, permits, licensing, regulations both state and federal levels. They were experts on all fronts. During the case, the other attorney tried to confuse the facts of the case while also seemingly emotional (not professional in my opinion). BWH focused on the law! What was very interesting, we thought, was the closing arguments. While the other attorney focused on arguments of opinion/interpretation of the law, BWH stuck to the facts of the law. Very important! The closing arguments are the point of time where your attorney can bring attention (to the judge) to where the opposing attorney may have been vague or misleading to the facts. BWH nailed the opposing team to the point of which even the judge had to redirect questions to them...not good for them and WAY TO GO BWH! I hope this will help you!
I have been a client Belsky, Weinburg and Horowitz twice and was more than pleased both times. They are always available, professional, friendly and effective. I will always recommend them.
