The smartest thing I ever did was picking up the phone and calling Eric Berg. I was involved in a family law matter for almost 3 years as a pro se litigant and was legally abused by my ex-wife's attorney during the course of those three years. I finally put my foot down and decided to retain an attorney and the only person that would immediately get back to me was Eric Berg. From the time I contacted his office, I was sitting in his personal office and signing a very reasonable retainer within 3 hours and he was already starting to work on the case. In the space of 48 hours I was able to completely turn around three years of the legal mess that I buried myself in.
