A very busy office with my experience there, whether it be a in person visit or a phone call to them. Despite a seemingly "heavy" workload they are able to in a professional and thorough manner, keep all in order and organized. What I really like about this outfit and more specifically Mrs Kmedic is the down to earth approach enabling her being able to relate to her patients on their level. I can safely and honestly promote a four star rating for this conveniently located establishment right at the entrance of Oregon City, between the tunnel and the bridge. Only blocks away from Oregon City Courthouse.
Shannon is suppose to be defending my husband who was wrongfully accused and charged but instead she isn't in it to help my husband get out of Jail but to keep him there
Shannon recently represented me on my criminal case. I think she did a good job and Represented me well. In the beginning I found myself frustrated from not being able to reach her as much as I wanted although her assistant always responded quickly. After my case was closed I went home feeling grateful. Thank you Shannon!!
My experience with attorney kmetic has been terrible, to say the least. She DEFINITELY never returns phone calls, and she will divulge your personal information and case facts with the district attorney. Hence, those are HER friends at the DA'S office. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LIBERTY OR FREEDOM
And another negative review.... husband and I had a consultation with Shannon Kmetic regarding modification of a parenting plan (custody) as my husband's son has been living with us for two school years. She assured us it was a slam dunk case and she would be happy to represent him and file the paperwork with the Oregon courts. Three weeks later, no calls and no follow through. Decided to have a consultation with a different family law attorney. He told us the paperwork had to be filed in the county of the original judgement as his ex-wife continues to reside in that county in Washington state. Consulted with an attorney in that jurisdiction who told us the county does maintain jurisdiction and any paperwork has to be filed with that court. Again, Shannon Kmetic gave us faulty information, stating the modification could be filed in Oregon, and wasted four weeks of our time waiting for her to return a phone call. Do not waste your time or money or trust. Hire someone else.
