Bill Mckee

I am a receptionist who was trying to send a fax to Mr. McKee for one of our residents (I work at a non-profit that houses homeless veterans). I got three fax confirmations saying the fax did not go through, so I figured out that it was a phone line, not a fax line, and called to get the fax number. Keep in mind, I spend my day on the phone with people struggling to get out of poverty, people who are frequently very stressed out and scared, so I do handle hostile or upset people over the phone very frequently. I was completely unprepared for how rude and aggressive Mr. McKee is. I was very polite and tried to de-escalate, but every time I spoke trying to explain who I was, Mr. McKee would talk louder, until the call ended in him screaming at me and hanging up. I understand he was annoyed at getting three calls that were fax noises, but cussing out a receptionist who is being polite and apologetic is hardly warranted. Very, very unprofessional. I recommended to our resident that he find a different attorney.
