I just received my original deed in the mail from Scott's paralegal and it reminded me that I forgot to write a review after my move. This is the second time that I have used Scott Bonacic to represent me on a real estate closing. Friends of mine have laughed when I said I found the best lawyer ever! I am known for being very tough on lawyers. I went through three lawyers to handle my divorce. I grew to be very distrusting of lawyers. So Scott Bonacic came to be a surprise to me! I have never felt in better hands than with Scott at my back. The first time he represented me was on the sale of my home and it was in the middle of an acrimonious divorce. Scott was very fair and made sure that both the concerns of myself and my ex-husband were noted and dealt with in a neutral fashion. There was one incident where I had to share with Scott a section of my pending divorce agreement and he handled the situation smoothly considering I had a very difficult ex-husband. Fast forward to present and I was now buying my first home by myself. I didn't hesitate to sign with Scott again. Oh boy, did I need him!! I was very nervous and he took the time to reassure me on every step of the process. The seller had a realtor that was deceptive. We actually caught her in a few lies. Then my own realtor was extremely disappointing. Although her motto was "I protect my client". I felt far from protected under her wing. I had to go to Scott for things that my realtor should have taken the helm. Scott made sure that items that were important to me took the priority all while my realtor was trying to sabotage with the seller's realtor on the side. He was emailing me often late in the evening to stay on top of what was becoming a circus between the two realtors. Seriously, if I didn't have Scott on my side, I would have lost my sanity. Someone had written on another review that this is a lawyer that truly cares about you. I couldn't agree more. I will recommend Scott to everyone.

Scott is by far the best attorney in the Hudson valley. If youd like to win your case and have a lawyer that truly cares about you, call this guy. By far the best interaction and experience I’ve ever had with another human being

I didn't feel that this office had any sense of urgency when representing me. I received correspondence once a week or so if I was lucky.
