Do not hire this laywer! We paid for services. We have asked for updates. Nothing. Then today get a court hearing date in the mail that my husbands laywer should have known about and called about. Today when trying to reach Joseph Boswell to inform OUR LAWYER of the court date he should have been informing my husband if we still get zero response. This is terrible customer service and I am considering reporting to the attorney general. We picked this laywer as my husband is not guilty of what he’s accused and most reviews seemed to point towards a competent laywer but from what we’ve seen so far I advise you to pick another attorney unless you have another 2500 bucks to pay someone else when this one can’t even return simple emails.

If you need a really good attorney Mr. Boswell is the one to call. This Lawyer doesn't judge you. He is understanding. He will fight for you. Seriously call Mr. Boswell. You won't regret it.. Thank you, Mr.Boswell for everything you done for me... Dayna

I am amending my original review of Mr. Boswell’s handling of my family member’s case. The following is my original review... “Mr. Boswell was court appointed to represent a family member. There have been daily attempts to get in touch with him by multiple persons for 2 weeks with no reply. Do not hire him. Find someone who will actually do their job. My last option has been to contact the Attorney General’s office to file a formal complaint.” Less than 3 hours after posting this review, Mr. Boswell called me. He seemed very friendly on the phone. He also told me that he’d been in contact with the Denton County DA’s office and would call me back either that same day or the next with any update. I really felt like he was on top of it. That’s when he mentioned my negative review. He asked if I was the person who’d posted it. I told him that I was that person but that I’d amend it. To my surprise, he called me back a second time that same day. He let me know that he’d spoken with the DA and had an idea of what the plea deal would be. Mr Boswell said he’d call me back the following day once the plea deal was officially offered. That’s exactly what happened. He called me back the next day and let me know about the plea deal being offered and asked if I thought my family member would take it. I told him; “Yes, I think he’ll take it but he needs to talk to his client”. That should have been the end of it...or would have been... Except that, it still took him a week to present the DA’s offer to his client. Yes, I understand that we’re in a pandemic. Yes, the courts are backed up and the jails are full. I just wonder if Mr. Boswell would have had a little more of a sense of urgency if he was getting paid and not court appointed. Who knows ? I also wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t posted my negative review. Is that all Mr. Boswell cares about? Would this still be unresolved? Who knows? I hope my review helps. I also hope Mr. Boswell’s future clients are as much of a priority as a negative Google review.

Great lawyer! Very thoughtful, smart, and proffessional.

I previously worked for Dawn and Joe as their legal assistant (best job I have ever had). They are amazing attorneys and, more importantly, amazing people. They are honest, kind, and professional. In the year that I worked there, I never received any complaints. I only received gratitude from those we served. I personally enjoyed seeing people come in and leave more confident and informed. My favorite thing about Dawn is her passion for the law. She knows her stuff! She also knows that even the best of people can make a mistake and she will be there for you every step of the way. Joe is also an outstanding attorney. He is easy to talk to and will go out of his way to make sure you understand all of your options. He has worked hard to become who he is and does an amazing job at it. The bottom line is that Boswell & Moore, P.C. is an exceptional law firm with many success stories. If you want your current situation to become a success story, then give them a call. You will not regret it!
