There are others who posted negative experiences about Attorney Calo, I also had a negative experience. This review is a cautionary tale. Attorney Calo is a good Attorney on paper and at hearings, but she produced 1 star results and gave me irresponsible legal advice telling me not to appeal a terrible legal decision that was made by the Court. The fees I was billed later were astronomical, if you don't mind going broke and giving all your money to this firm, Attorney Calo will represent you well on paper but the results were egregious to say the least. I have a malpractice claim against the firm, but no Attorney in Massachusetts will touch it, so I consider it a very expensive lesson and recommend you consider these negative reviews.
I called for a foreign friend of mine for legal help under estate planning, as recommended by my family lawyer. They are a private firm. They do not accept pro bono, or contingency cases. Cost is $300-425/hr. They have locations in Worcester, Framingham, and Boston. According to their website, they have 100-200 attorneys, and have been around for over 100 years. My friend had no money, so the firm could not help her. I went to the Worcester office, and they will not allow visits without appointments. I called around 8 times, and I played phone tag for 2 days with secretaries. I never got to speak with any of their attorneys. It was a waste of time for us.
These people are taking advantage of my Grandmother. She has dementia and we are trying to help her. The law firm has cut off all channels of communication and do not want to cooperate with us because my grandmother is paying their insanly high fees. They will say they are doing their job, but they lack any form of humanity.
1st amendment protection allows me to Relay my extremely POOR experience with this Law Firm and more specifically… Attorney Calo Att “Katie” Calo is the most unprofessional and disingenuous lawyer I have ever met. I am profoundly disappointed Based on my experience I can strongly recommend avoiding this ( see other Att Calo Review ) I wish I had
My mother and sister who took advantage of my father with dementia are represented by them. The assistant was very kind. The lawyer was the rudest person I’ve ever interacted with. That is greed and heartlessness.
