stay away from this law firm for Family cases, i paid $6500 retainer, it was used before anything is done, the Lawyer I had Frank is a waste of time and money, do it yourself is much better , he dose not communicate nor return calls after 10 attempt to get hold of him, then he charge you for reading your emails, which are the same emails i was sending over and over again asking about the statues of the case. he kept loosing paperwork and kept asking for it again and again.

If you're in need of a family attorney I recommend Chase Butler. Him and his team are very supportive and caring. He will help you in whatever situation you are going through with the other parent.

Chase Butler was my son's attorney. Communication was horrible. Charged 7k for no action taken. After 5 temporary order hearings he signed off on temporary orders without getting my son's signature on the orders and didn't fight for him. He does not review paperwork as other party added for my son to pay her attorney fee. Some hearings Mr. Butler was late, did not show or ask to have the hearing dropped. This was the worst experience ever. I recommend running and spend your money on an attorney that will let you know whats happening on your case and have your best interest.

Chase Butler and Neil Calfas are two of the best attorneys in Texas. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Additionally they keep up to date with the ever evolving laws and continued education. This firm is a well oiled machine and priced well below what they’re worth. I know because I’ve worked as a paralegal for 10+ years in both Dallas and Austin and it’s rare to come across such high caliber attorneys. Even with the network of colleagues I have, I wouldn’t hire any other attorneys than Mr. Calfas and Mr. Butler, especially when it comes to family court. Rarely do I leave reviews for businesses, good or bad but I felt I needed to share my personal experience in hopes that others needing a top notch law firm will call the Calfas Law Group first.
