I was referred to Mr. Carmin by a friend who had good things to say but I was hesitant to believe the hype, in the week beforehand I had interviewed with several attorneys and been thoroughly disappointed with their attentiveness and professionalism. After meeting with Michael I knew after 15 minutes he was my lawyer. I didn’t just choose Michael because of hearing I could win my real estate case, I chose him bc after explaining the case to him, he knew of more than one problem with the contract I had signed. Where, the previous attorneys knew NOTHING of these laws and did not have much interest in hearing the details of the case. The aptitude, knowledge, professionalism and ability to understand the entire case before them is what I understand to be the basis of an attorney practicing law at an elite level. Michael Carmin has all of these. If you need help with a situation you aren’t prepared to tackle by yourself and you “know a guy who knows a guy who can help you for cheap”, I would point you to call Michael instead. He is a professional and someone I would trust again in the future.

I recently finished litigation and Mike Carmin represented my neighbor who was attempting to take a piece of my property via adverse possession. It’s understood you are not likely to appreciate the opposing attorney but Mike was very unprofessional. My neighbor made multiple false claims and Mike never vetted them before continuing with sending strongly worded emails and pushing through to court instead of solving this in mediation. Mike pulled me aside to tell me I was wasting everyone’s time the morning of the court hearing. He objected to nearly everything my witnesses and I said and lost his temper in the court room. It was very satisfying to win my case.
