Carol is an excellent and professional attorney. She was knowledgeable regarding custody issues, and had devoted her full attention to my situation. I am happy to recommend Carol and truly believe her to be the best of the best in her business.

Family law is not for the faint of heart, but I was extremely pleased to have Ms. Peake as my captain. Through the rollercoaster of emotions, having her at my side mitigated the onslaught of grief and devastation. I did not want a divorce. I did not want my family to be separated, but my hand was forced. She did an amazing job of keeping me in check. I can’t tell you the number of times I nearly sabotaged my own case, but I heard Carol’s voice in my head telling me to be a baby jesus. She is my champion, and I cannot thank her enough.

I found Carol by doing some on line research. I went to meet her to handle my divorce, I found her to be very warm and welcoming so I hired her. Carol was very up front with me and gave me the hard facts of what I would be facing and made me feel very confident in her abilities to make sure my interests were protected. Carol was always there when I needed her and handled my case very effectively. In the end I got a much better deal than we expected and we were under budget. I would highly recommend Carol and her firm. There is no fluff here just honest hard working people that do a great job.

I hired Carol about a year and a half ago. Carol and her assistant TJ are very nice people to work with, and are very responsive when it comes to answering and retuning both phone calls and emails. However, the entire time I felt as if Carol did not have my best interest in mind, much less my children’s best interest. Every time I would bring something up to her or give her information that one would think was very valuable she would always turn it down by saying that the judge would deni it or straight up not accept it. I had so much evidence and she threw it all out. I wasn’t even asking for much, all I asked for was 50/50 (which we literally already had), and she couldn’t even get me that. Half way through the process I could tell that she was not going to win my case and literally had to prepare myself mentally to losing my case long before the divorce process was even over. At one point I had even thought about looking for another lawyer, but I honestly just couldn’t afford another lawyer, as I was already almost 7k in the hole. So I ended up with less custody and having to pay child support, which I was totally okay with having to pay child support, but I still ended up with less time with my kids, even though we are both good and responsible parents. Absolutely no reason why she couldn’t have won my case and get me the 50/50. I would never recommend her to anyone, she just doesn’t fight hard enough.
