I would give zero stars if possible. David literally walked out of custody hearing as I was fighting for my children because I wouldn’t pay him an obscene premium. He is not considered with fighting for you or your childrens rights. He’s business plan is to eat up your retainer and ask for more money. He was to be appointed by the judge, but then he could not accept retainer. So, he tried bullying me into money before the hearing. When I refused, he walked out and left me unrepresented. PROCEED WOTH CAUTION. ITS YOUR MONEY, NOT YOUR INTERESTS THAT HE IS WORKING FOR. Don’t say me and all the other reviews here didn’t warn you when you are 6 months into your custody battle , you’ve gotten no where and he has eaten up your retainer and is asking for more money. You read it here, don’t cry later.

Avoid Carton! . When you get there she reads from past and asks what I want to do-- Isnt her job to offer advice an BE PREPARED? I got the idea she wasn't prepared, and offered NOTHING SINCE SHE HADNT read anything. Make sure she fights for your temporary support She didn't even ask how much I was getting SINCE I WASNT GETTING ANY! ZERO NADA She allowed that I declined monthly support until divorce was final WHO would EVER? I would give her No stars DO NOT USE!!

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Took my retainer and did NOTHING for over a month. Every time I called Rosoff (i refuse to refer to him as an attorney) for an update he scrambled for my files and read back information to me from paperwork I provided them with. When I demanded a refund for my retainer I was billed for "services rendered".

The WORST law firm I am a Small business owner and because of that I can’t get a simple divorce as there is the business and property involved I live close to white plains so I searched divorce lawyers and David’s law firm popped up, the website looked good and when I met with David I had a good feeling he was the right choice, he said he needed a $10,000 retainer to take my case which I initially thought was a bit high since I had heard most lawyers ask for $5000 to start, but he led me to believe $10,000 would be more then enough to get it done, WARNING David Rosoff will run down your initial $10,000 retainer without doing much because he charges for everything he can possibly charge you for Biggest example is I prefer to use email from my iPhone as I’m always on the run with my business and it’s quick to just send a email to him instead of trying to call and most likely him not being in the office But Beware He actually charges $80 if you send him a email, $40 to read a email and $40 to respond to it, when I saw this in his monthly bill I couldn’t believe it One time I sent him a email and 5 days later since he never responded so I sent the same email again When he sent me the next months bill he charged me twice to read the same email ($80) and another $40 to respond so it cost me $120 for that one email The only thing I see that he actually does not charge for is to send me the monthly bill Finally when he ran my $10,000 retainer down to under $1,000 he said he was now ready to request a preliminary meeting with my wife’s lawyer in court but I had to give him another $15,000 retainer to proceed!!! That’s $25,000 total he wanted from me for doing close to nothing so far That was last straw and I finally got a new lawyer that took a $5000 retainer and she has moved things along much better and she doesn’t charge me $40 to read emails AVOID THIS LAW FIRM, Unless you like to see your hard earned money go into his pockets and get close to nothing in return

Robin Carton is a very accomplished and very fair (to her clients) attorney. If you require such services, consider her lawfirm to represent you.
