Arun Chandra is an excellent lawyer, as council he is communicative, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Arun helped us close on a complicated SBA land + business acquisition, and Thanks to Arun's expertise, we were able to navigate the legal and financial web. We will continue to use Arun for all our legal needs. Absolute A++ - James P. Byrnes Funeral Home.
This acknowledgment is long overdue. Mr. Chandra is a highly knowledgeable and diligent real estate attorney. He helped me enormously with buying a home. He explained thoroughly the whole process prior to signing the contract of sale. He was very patient, responsive and caring from the beginning of this complex process. I will definitely hire him in the future and recommend him to anyone who is buying or selling property. Thank you for your brilliant work, Mr. Chandra!
Arun Chandra helped us as our real estate attorney when we bought a coop in 2017. (See my previous review.) When we wanted to sell the coop after my daughter's marriage, we gladly sought the help of Arun Chandra again. Arun and his colleague Rosemary patiently and efficiently guided us through the laborious coop sale all the way to closing. We knew they would! :) While this was going on, we also decided to buy a single family house. And, yes, Arun Chandra was our attorney. His knowledge and experience in real estate law are exceptional and amazing. He is always prompt and crisp in responding to questions and requests. He totally understands our anxieties & concerns and guides us the right way. Both Arun and Rosemary handled the job with such remarkable expertise and closed the purchase weeks ahead of schedule! Arun is super friendly, easy-going and cheerful. My family and I are very happy with Arun as our real estate attorney. We'll proudly recommend Arun as the attorney to anyone who wants to buy or sell properties for family or business.
First time home buyer. Chandra Law Office was recommended by my real estate agent. I am glad I decided to go with him. Mr. Chandra is the best lawyer hands down regarding real estate. He is experienced coop lawyer. The process is lengthy and sometimes frustrating, but thanks to his expertise everything went smooth in the end. You got to meet him to believe me. He is very funny, yet down to earth when it comes to business. Also, I like to say thank his assistant Rosemary.
Arun Chandra represented the buyer of my apartment. He showed up 40 minutes late to the closing, was confused about the details of the sale, and then demanded $1000 be placed in escrow for an alleged dripping faucet. I had recently been in the apartment and there was no dripping faucet. The bldg super was called and he confirmed that if there in fact was a drip, it would be fixed easily and at no charge. Chandra kept insisting on a credit and threatened to adjourn the closing if his demand wasn't met. He, the buyer and the broker should all be embarrassed by his behavior. Responding to the owner: Mr. Chandra knows I had representatives in the room, and spoke with them directly during the closing so my recitation of facts is accurate. None of the issues raised at closing were noted during the thorough inspection made before the apartment went into contract. Clearly, Mr. Chandra is proud of the tactic of raising the issues only at closing and with the threat of adjournment, but he, the buyer and the broker should be embarrassed by it. They received a small credit which I chalk up as a 'nuisance fee.'
