Very pleased with Dr. Sexton’s practice and care. I came in for a rash and skin check and feel as though I’ve been taken care of very thoroughly. He numbed, scraped, and biopsied two moles that both came back clean. I then even went back in a week later because I was anxious about another mark that he reassured me was not an issue. He was kind and patient and I didn’t feel rushed or anything like that. If you have a mole that you are suspicious of I highly recommend coming here instead of putting it off or waiting weeks for an appointment.

Posting this from my husband's Google account. Dr. Charles Sexton was extremely rude and refused to even see me because I mentioned that I had tried to soothe a lesion on my chest prior to seeking the help of a professional. He was deeply offended that I had tried anything and explicitly stated that I was incapable of following any treatment plans that he might give out, so he refused to see the lesion on my chest and stood by the door motioning me to get out of the exam room. The sequence of events is so shocking that I am inclined to submit a complaint to the Board of Medicine.

I was skeptical of making an appointment with this office, due to some of the negative reviews. However, I proceeded and had a great experience. I tried to scheduled an appointment with two other dermatologist in the area, but they were booked for weeks and I required immediate attention for my situation. I called Dr. Sexton office and was able to get an appointment the next day and the office manger was really friendly. Also, she provided me with all the information and paperwork required to make my first visit easy and reduce the wait time, which I really appreciated. I met with Dr. Sexton and he was completely professional, attentive, friendly and relatable. Also, he was patience and didn't rush to get to the next patient as some doctor work and treat you as a number. In regards to billing, if you have insurance, it's wise to call and know what type of visit will be covered and what your health insurance plan will cover and will not. The office can not make the decision and are only there to provide the service. Therefore, do your homework before walking into any doctor's office. Health insurance is tricky, but it's there for your benefit and for your knowledge.. Thanks

Dr Sexton is probably the most professional Dermatologist I've ever seen. He's very attentive to details, listens carefully to all my concerns. He spends plenty of time with me, I've never felt rushed. His staff is great, very knowledgeable. His office is very clean with a beautiful salt water aquarium in the waiting room along with his own paintings on the walls!
