My "case" dragged on for well over a year. There are multiple examples of cases just like mine on line. I did everything asked of me in a timely manner, gave them all the evidence they could have asked for including pictures, receipts, documentation of treatment etc, while everything I asked for was completely ignored, eg a copy of my contract and a copy of the independent medical exam that I complied with and attended. I never received anything from my attorney except a lot of vague assurances. This attorney asked me to sign a release and was willing to settle without a fight in order to receive the money they expended while leaving me with absolutely nothing. Why should I sign something so they make money and won't fight for me? Uh, no. They don't even try. Lazy and apathetic, and the paralegals are snotty kids. Find someone willing to fight the good fight because this outfit won't. In response to the owner's comments, I noticed he mentioned nothing about the fact that to this date, I still have not received a contract, the IME report or any kind of billing activity from him despite the fact that I have repeatedly requested these things. In regard to his comment about their "expert" opinion, what I was told was the "expert" couldn't explain what happened when the OJ jug exploded in my sink and almost took my finger off. I, on the other hand, took pictures, saved the jug and even gave them the receipt noting when I bought it. I was also asked to give my deposition which never happened. I can only assume my 30-year background as a rehab nurse/case manager spooked them. If it was anyone else, my finger would have gotten infected and not healed and could easily have been lost. It took a huge chunk out of my index finger down to the bone which you can see in the pictures. The cap was on so tight, it exploded in my sink with orange juice on the ceiling and a piece of my finger in the sink. I know exactly what happened, and I know when someone is blowing smoke. I cannot help but conclude they declined to pursue the matter because they were going against Walmart and Arcadia Farms, too much opposition. I'm just sorry I listened to them advise me to sue telling me I had a case. It was nothing more than me doing everything I could but hand the win to them on a silver platter. Those are the open-and-shut cases they take. Like I said, they won't fight the good fight FOR YOU unless it's easy money for them. THAT'S the truth. Mea culpa. I should have known better than to expect anyone to commit to doing what's good and right these days.
It was a pleasure working with Mr. Trainor and is associates. They definitely work hard to get what you deserve.
