I left one star only because they don’t allow negative numbers. This law firm is unethical and borderline corrupt. We will be seeking disciplinary actions with the ARDC concerning a child custody case in Boone county. In my opinion, the county clerk’s self help resources will better serve you than hiring this firm.

This whole Law Firm is a fraud, make a thorough research before you waste your hard-earned money and on top of that your precious time please, please ! They don’t seem to have any law practising experience, all they have is a law degree. Their license should be revoked immediately. Can you imagine a guy who claims to be an attorney, I.e Jacob Trotter lacks the ability to bring up your issues to the judge simply because he is scared of losing his license representing you?

Terrible divorce lawyer. I’m stuck paying tons of child support while still having 50/50 custody of my kids, think I’m paying around 40% of my income. My ex is also a nurse with a lot higher income than me. Add to that not being to have my kids on certain holidays and he also allowed opposing attorney to allow my e to file all the kids on her taxes. All around terrible lawyer. Don’t go here you’ll get screwed over in your divorce.

Lawyer Eric Jacobs' work ethic is NOT professional. He will claim that he'll "be able to take on your case," and "not to worry." Then will wait days to tell you that he's changed his mind and "will no longer be able to take the case." Which can be detrimental in a time sensitive case. Do not recommend him.
