Step-Parent Adoption/Contested Adoption: So glad I found this lawyer!! After years of searching for a lawyer to represent us, I stumbled across Mr. Cofsky on Google. From the beginning , he has been super patient with all my questions and was amazing about communicating with me. We were filing to have my husband adopt my daughter, as well as terminate her biological father’s parental rights. Her biological father contested the adoption and our battle began. After almost a year of fighting in court…after pushed back dates and endless paperwork; we finally WON! There is no way we would have been able to do this without him.
