When I retained Mr. Corbin, I had Chicago parking tickets that could only be fixed through a chapter 13 bankruptcy (this is the long term reorganization where you have to make monthly payments). Mr. Corbin assisted me at every step of the process. He even personally attended the trustee meeting with me. From what I understand not many attorneys personally do that anymore. During the case, I lost my job and I could not get steady employment for a while and I fell behind on my chapter 13 payments. Mr. Corbin was always available to speak to me -- I never got the runaround. I think he asked the judge to modify my plan payments two times which saved my case. Ultimately, Chicago came out with a new program for parking tickets. Mr. Corbin informed me about the program. He converted my case to chapter 7 and helped me get enrolled with the Chicago program. This saved me time and money. Mr. Corbin is a lawyer that communicates with his clients and is actually available to his clients after the money has already been paid.
