Found them through their podcast and great content they share. The paid consultation however didn’t hold up to the public expert image. Guessing on answers, not really listening to questions isn’t the way to sell services. If there’s only one answer to no matter the question, why even have a meeting. Just sell that.

I have had bad experiences with prior law firms. However, Stephen Babe at Cordell & Cordell was one of the best attorneys I've worked with. All billing was up front with no surprises. Also, Stephen was fast and efficient, promptly returned my email and phone calls, and kept me up to date on the case. Highly recommended!

Don't be fooled. These lawyers will do nothing more for you than any other lawyer. They will try to get it into trial and get your bill up to 15K! Get your court matter into mediation and make an agreement do not go to trial. I went from a 5050 custody agreement no childsupport that I achieved myself the 1st time in court. Then My ex got a free legal aid lawyer and some how wins sole custody of my children. And I pay 1200 dollars a month now. So a free legal aid destroys cordell and cordell. Marcy Lungberg is lazy no communication. Horrible in open court. Shes not well spoken during trial and was not prepared. Don't be a fool like me.

Communication is key and during a divorce it's even more important. I felt that my attorney at Cordell & Cordell did not communicate with me often and when I called or emailed it was days and at times weeks before I heard back. It was very frustrating and I mentioned this to my attorney directly and with their Care Team at Cordell & Cordell. Cordell & Cordell and my attorney got paid regardless of the outcome. There was very little effort on their part in putting me first, fighting for me, what I wanted, and what was best for myself and my children. They say they are pro dad, but they are really pro get paid and overcharge for services that are below the standards of what you would expect paying $285.00 per hour. My divorce was difficult and trying to keep three children mentally and emotionally sound was very important, Cordell & Cordell just added to my stress, panic, and anxiety. If I could choose to give zero stars I would. There were multiple occasions where one of the Care Coordinators would reach out to see how things were going. I shared my concerns and my frustration and was offered an apology, which is and was not enough. This is and has been my life. You are a client, a name in a file that's quickly and easily lost in a stack of papers on someone's desk. Because of my divorce and working with Cordell & Cordell I am financially hurting and need to be able to provide for my three children will be difficult. I advise doing your homework and research. It will amaze you what should be shared as basic legal advice, but is skipped over. You will end up paying for it in the long-term mentally, emotionally, and financially.

I am really happy with the outcome of my divorce. Thanks to Cordell and Cordell and specially to Stephen, who guide me throughout the process. His dedication from the beginning to the end gave me pace of mind.
