Did a paid consult with Lorianne. She was great and provided some advice on how to proceed immediately with my case. She offered to take the case. She offered to send me a retainer contract via email. I replied three times to send over the retainer contract and never heard back. Was excited to work with her. But after a month of being blown off, I think I've changed my mind. After Lorie reached out, we didn't decide to move forward with my case with no hard feelings. She is kind and easy to speak with on the phone. Will update further when my case is completed. My family is optimistic for a good outcome :)

I found Cox & Associates through my employer's legal reference source. While I did read over Cox & Associates' reviews, I felt as though I was making a good choice so I made contact. Immediately, I was connected with Geoffrey Cox whom after I provided the details of my situation, presented a "one and done" case per se due to by laws. Long story short, I would not recommend Cox & Associates for family matters like mine because my experience was nothing short of a "dropped ball." There were many scheduling conflicts which led to push backs of court hearings, awaiting correspondences from opposing attorney, etc. and as Mr. Cox stated at the time a "failed system," to provide somewhat of an ease to me. Communication was good for the most part from Mr. Cox, unlike the customer service (condescending demeanor) received from his office manager, Kelly. After receipt of an email saying "your funds is approaching exhaustion," I posed the question "what exactly did I pay for?" Only to be answered "the initial retainer agreement provides information on what this includes." Great legal answer; however, after retaining Mr. Cox as my attorney, I felt as if a personable answer would have been be more deserving.
