I don't get a lot of legal advice, maybe every other year, and this was the first time with regards to corporate transactions in Texas, so I sent out a request to a handful of Austin-based attorneys to see if they handled my type of contract. Not only did Jolie reply (many did not!), but her rate and time estimate were reasonable. Jolie and I were able to establish a working business agreement electronically without fuss or muss. In point of fact, Jolie and I never met in person. A few days later, Jolie called me to explain the caveats and pitfalls of the contract. She was courteous and professional. She answered all of my questions and allayed my fears and suspicions of the contract. When all was said and done, her bill was within the time estimate she gave. Excellent! So while I don't get a lot of legal advice, I will, without hesitation, contact Jolie first.
