Reviews

Regarding the Z530M zero turn mower with 24 hp V-twin engine, it was easy to learn how to ride and made short work of big areas with deep almost waist, deep grass that we used to use a tractor with a pull behind brush mower. The deepest grass areas needed, going over several times to get it, shorter and even out but this is an excellent mower I love it!
A Fortune 100 company and a world leader in agriculture, forestry, and roadbuilding equipment, John Deere supports and helps those who provide food, nutrition, fiber, fuel, and infrastructure put food on every table for the billions of people around the planet in addition to helping them end hunger in their communities. John Deere is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion and is recognized as one of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere. I consider John Deere a great company to work for! Two thumbs all the way up.
Terrible company, terrible mowers!!! Sold me.a lemon wont stand behind it, so the dealership wants to rebuild a deck for 1300 when a new one is 1000, to add insult to injury, the battery was really good on it, they didnt turn the key to shut the battery off so the killed my battery, and put a cut on my seat. This was a waste of money it has 81.3 hrs on it, wonderful craftsmanship, so maybe some advice, Train tour people to treat others properrty as i was theres .
Not very pleased that John Deere uses a system of dual plastic pulleys bolted to heavy mild steel to manage tension for the main drive belt on the X350 lawn tractor. At 174 hours one plastic pulley shredded and partially melted from friction. As a result, the new unbalanced tension from the spring pulled the other plastic pulley in a direction it is not supposed to be and started shaving away against the control rod that sits under the frame rail and connects the main pedals to the transaxle. Luckily my nose alerted me as I started to detect what smelled like burnt rubber as the machine continued to operate. The lawn tractor has been used normally and never abused. Both pulleys were not cheap. I expect way more quality and engineering of John Deere and particularly their "X" series. I might expect "less" on the lower end models offered at the local hardware store but how many thousands more do I have to pay for quality? And why are my eastern NC John Deere dealers not all the same when they are owned by the same group, carry the same name, but operate differently and carry different products (and attitudes) depending on location? Some seem to cater to the large accounts while another carries more of what the average home owner might purchase. When I visit a John Deere location, I cannot immediately determine if I am at the right one unless a bull dozer is parked out front and I am looking to buy a string trimmer. It is less obvious and sad to suddenly realize that I might not be a preferred customer or at the right location based on what I am looking to buy. If this is by design then it is very flawed or just sell the "X" series at the local hardware store.
If you take into account that this building was completed in 1964. The design and architecture is remarkable. First impression is a little bit gloomy. After a short time you like it more and more. The location inside beautiful forest and at a lakeside is for a big company unusual but fits perfectly to Deere's slogan: linked to the land!
