I initially filed two and a half years ago, the paperwork was so overwhelming and I couldn't get any clear answers from the SSA when I'd call. The entire process was extremely tedious and ultimately I was denied. Tracey Pate and her team got involved shortly after and it was like a tremendous weight was lifted off of my shoulders. They handled everything and the process went so much faster and smoother. They kept in contact with me every step of the way, let me know what to expect, and prepared me in advance for the hearing. A few weeks after, they called to let me know I was approved for disability!!! I definitely would not have gotten a favorable decision without them! If you are applying for disability, then call Tracey Pate and her amazing staff at Disability Associates and save yourself from a mountain of stress and disappointment. I tried to do it myself and was denied twice. I called Tracey and once she (and her wonderful staff) took over, everything was smooth. Every phone call and question was answered almost immediately, even late at night, and I was walked through every step of the process so there were no surprises and heart breaking disappointments. I found the hearing to be enormously stressful but Tracey and her staff took care of me right through to the judgement which honestly I thought was impossible to get.
