If I could rate 0 stars I would, though even that is too good a rating for him. I have a psychiatrist I go to, but I was sent to Dr. Meck during my application for SSI which I've been fighting to get approved for due to mental health conditions that make it very hard for me to be around people for extended periods. He was rude throughout the visit which also felt very rushed with a lack of empathy from him. Recently I received a denial letter from social security with it being stated that in this one off visit that lasted less than an hour, Dr. Meck diagnosed me with a 'personality disorder' without any mention of which one it was. This is in comparison to my primary psychiatrist I've been seeing for three years who has diagnosed me with multiple things with none of them being a personality disorder. Though social security wouldn't use my own doctor's notes. He also lied about me to hurt my chances of getting approved by saying I told him that 'I don't work' and that I 'had no reason' other than just not working. What person trying to get approved for something to have at least some form of income because of how much their conditions restrict them would say something like that which would have a negative effect on their claim? I vaguely recall telling him that if I could get out and work I would be doing so compared to those who want to be slackers and don't work for any other reason than not wanting to. Overall, if you have a case for disability, tread with caution if they send you to Dr. Meck and have a proper statement from a primary doctor. He's not only rude but will give you a wrong diagnosis and put words in your mouth so it goes against you.

Would give less than 1 star. Unfortunately my special needs child had to be seen here. Called his ID fake because it had been bent. Child is already seen by a physician. Child has bad anxiety and would not allow me to come back with him. Child stated that he seemed very mean to him.
