Law Office is full of Scumbags Specifically Joseph Frederick Wallace at least. He Had his client use an old notice when payment was rendered then went on to use Faked tracking on a Certified notice which was never delivered in person or left in the mail box. Attorney is a low life who cheats with his clients without following the law even breaking it. He should be disbarred due to his conduct and unethical nature in which he practices.

I really don't know where to start. This Law Firm is your GO TO Law Firm in Des Moines, IA. My Mother was a client of there's before she passed away. Every time I have spoke with Mr Jeff Abel's he has been NOTHING about KIND! He has been extremely informative & helpful. All the staff at this Law Firm are extremely KIND. You are honestly in good hands with any legal matter you have. If they can not help you. They will definitely point you in the right direction. I HIGHLY this Law Firm for your next legal matter. I would highly recommend Zoe Wissler for anyone looking for a lawyer. She did an amazing job representing me in my divorce. She helped make a difficult situation as painless as possible and gave me the information to make decisions with confidence. Thanks to her the divorce was able to be finalized much sooner than I had anticipated. Zoe Wissler and Ryan Genest were both incredibly knowledgeable, professional and personable. I couldn’t have done it without their guidance.

I received poor service from this firm twice. First when drafting a deal to sell my business and then again when it was time to close the sale. Telephone calls and emails took days to receive a response back. Nearly EVERY deadline set by the attorney HIMSELF was missed and of course no communication to let me know unless I initiated it. When the final bill came I had a few questions so I called. Several days later I received a call back. The attorney said he would look into it and call me back the next day. Instead I received a long email (not the return phone call I was told I would receive) the following week defending their billing and stating they were $100 per hour less than their competitors. (I did not hire them because they were cheap, who wants to use an economy law firm?) He also stated that they provided good service, a great product, and delivered on time. Really? If missing almost every deadline you set and returning calls and emails several days later is good service I would hate to experience bad. I would not recommend them. They earned one star.

Gary R. Fischer took on Goliath and got them to pay, and they paid BIG! Gary helped my family fight a denied Worker’s Comp claim against THE largest store-based retailer (LSBR) after I lost my wife while she was traveling for business. Unfortunately, when I first filed, they denied her, which inevitably turned into an extremely complicated case for Gary and his team, but that didn’t slow them down. They covered every potential direction and every conceivable avenue that LSBR could take in an attempt to shirk off responsibility to my wife as her longtime employer. Thanks to Gary’s due diligence and hard work, the Compensation Commissioner’s 25 page arbitration decision was a HUGE win for us. I would highly recommend Gary R. Fischer and his firm - Simpson, Jensen, Ables, Fischer & Bouslog, P.C. - and I plan to be talking with them again soon regarding a follow up business travel life insurance policy claim that was denied by LSBR as well.
