Called them regarding a serious family matter. The receptionist was great. However the law clerk who took our info promised to contact me the next day. Two weeks later, still no call. Maybe they should think about being a little more professional. Won't be calling them again.
Kim is a terrible attorney when it comes to getting the job done and client relations. After you pay her, she slow rolls the process and could care less when your case is heard. Over two years of Kims excuses, "her" asking the courts for extensions and $3500 paid up front, my step mom is no better off then she was before she regretfully used Kim. My stepmom had to find another attorney, who immediately resolved her case within one month. Carpenter us a joke and a fraud who needs to be reported to the bar.
Attorney Kim Carpenter did an excellent job in assisting me with my Disability case. She kept me well informed throughout the entire process. She had me well prepared for what to expect and represented me excellently at the hearing. I highly recommend her to anyone needing legal assistance. She helped me get through home of the most difficult times in my life.
I highly recommend Attorney Kimberly Carpenter! She had my best interests at heart from the beginning of a long three year process. She does what she tells you she will do. Her compassion and integrity are above reproach!
I paid the $250 (higher than most others) for the consultation fee, ok understood. Sat down discussed my situation. Was told by the attorney that calling the company would be a waste of time, but what is needed is to call the credit collection agency directly and negotiate. Leaving him a page of my credit report with the name of the collections agency. We came to an understanding he would call the agency and negotiate. Depending on the result would give a figure of his hiring fee. He called the company not the collections; essentially doing exactly what he called pointless. Then decided to tell me that got no where and there is a $1k hiring fee to make one phone call on my behalf not guaranteeing me that he could even negotiate the collections down. I am out $250 and my time for him to do exactly opposite of what he said to do. Now I have to represent myself.
