I contacted several attorneys before deciding on Mr. Galante to represent me in my divorce. I was expecting the ex-husband to be difficult and Mr. Galante was recommended to me by a friend. He started asking pertinent questions right away on our first phone call. He was professional, caring and thorough. He walked me through what to expect for the mediation and helped me follow up with the ex-husband afterward when conditions of the mediation were not followed up by the ex. His assistant Stephanie is wonderful as well, easy to communicate with and responds quickly to questions and concerns. Both of them talk straight, no BS or pulled punches, listen and follow through on what you need to give them and your case will go as smoothly as mine.

I highly recommend this attorney. His prices are very reasonable and he did an excellent job with an adoption we recently performed. Through the process he was very dedicated and efficient. There also were particular challenges involved which he did his best to foresee and navigate which helped things immensely.

The only thing I can say is watch out. Their are many other lawyers within the area to deal with. This lawyer is nearly impossible to get a hold of and when you do he is completely unaware of your case. The only time he gets a hold of you when you owe him money. Watch out

I would not recommend this attorney. He initially handled my divorce for $1000.00 and did a great job. My ex-husband re-opened the case with false accusations and I again retained Mr .Galante's services to handle the matter. I was required to pay a retainer of $3250, which seemed reasonable because we thought we were going to trial. We ended up settling in an hour-long mediation. After the mediation I asked Mr. Galante about a refund and he stated a check would be mailed. A month went by and I got nothing. I emailed and called again. Again was told a check would be mailed, and nothing. Another month went by and I finally sent an email saying I was going to stop by the office to pick up a check. I then received an email from his secretary stating that there was no refund due and all of the $3250 had been used. In all this time I did not receive one bill, ledger, or anything. I am taking the matter to the Florida Bar for a thorough investigation. Don't allow them to steal from you too.
