I recently went through a very contentious divorce (lasting three years), one which I originally thought would be an easy settlement . . . but, as I learned, there is no shortage of wacky soon-to-be ex husbands, and no shortage of money grubbing divorce lawyers whose game is to keep you filing motions on ridiculous 'emotional' issues that have no legal merit so that they can line their purses with your money. After having been that route with such an attorney, I hired Ed (who became my second divorce lawyer). If I had started with Ed, I'm sure my divorce would not have been so extended and nasty. Ed is a very down-to-earth, NO NONSENSE, HONEST lawyer. He cuts through the BS and gets down to the real issues with the result that he does not waste your time or your money and, quite surprisingly (pleasant that is) is very conscientious of your wallet. Unlike my earlier attorney, Ed's game is to get you divorced with as little discomfort as possible and get you a good result so that you can move on with your life in a positive manner. Ed far exceeded my expectations and I can not recommend him highly enough. If you are just starting a proceeding or thinking about it, CALL ED. If you find yourself in my prior position of forking out dollar after dollar on endless 'emotional' issues and thinking that I'm 'stuck' with this lawyer because I can't emotionally stand to start all over, FIRE THAT LAWYER and HIRE ED!
