SELF GUIDED TOUR. Perspective from visitors. We went on a weekday open from 230 to 5pm. I recommend if you can, go on the weekends to give yourself more time. I wish we had more time. Nonetheless we had a great time exploring Wizards Academy and Storybook Campus. We spent the entire time there and still probably only touched the surface. They do give you handouts and a map to help you get to your location. We got lost many times haha. But we made it an adventure. Such a beautiful and imaginative place. Grateful they allow visitors to experience their campuses. Such a fun and free experience.
When visiting Madison this campus is a must see. The vibe is amazing, the people are the best. Every corner you turn is a new experience from landscaping to sculptures. We got lost and a friendly EPIC employee picked us up in his golf cart and found our next location. Are at one of the cafeterias and the food was fresh and tasty.
Epic campuses are an insanely cool place to tour! We've taken the kids here once and plan to come again. You can visit any day, the weekdays are quieter as great people work, and on the weekends it's more of an attraction. We visited 3 extremely impressive buildings, including the Fantasy themed building with an Alice in Wonderland rabbithole. The place really is indescribable, a marvel when you see it with your own eyes. Every inch of the place is adorned with beautiful, fantastical, art. Everything feels as though it belongs, and the themes throughout the campus are creative, unique, and well thought-out.
Wonderful find! A great day trip for kids especially on rainy days. You can walk for miles indoors and find amazing artwork and decor at every step. So much thought has been put into every nook and cranny, even the elevators. Extremely well kept and clean. Need good walking shoes. You'll be walking the whole day and still not get to see everything. Should keep some water and snacks as there aren't any on the premises that we saw for the public. Visiting on weekends would be a better idea as you'll have more time and won't be running into employees going about their daily work.
Highly recommend checking this out! You will need all day or a weekend though. Also, make sure you take food and drinks as none of the food or drink places are open on weekends and there are no vending machines. We didn't know this and didn't have food and we were STARVING through the whole thing
