My Experience with Shannon Evans was a nightmare. She partnered with a guy from Indiana who is a "Heir Finder". Heir Finders specialize in searching out unclaimed assets to reunite with the owner. A finder company will want their cut - up to about 30% or more of your missing money. Most states limit the amount that a finder company can charge. In all cases, an individual can apply directly to the state to claim the missing money at no cost This heir finder provided a false estate to Shannon in order to claim my grandfather's money. I repeatedly tried to intervene and Shannon would not even discuss it with me. The heir finder charged my deceased mother's husband 30% of my late Grandfather's unclaimed property which amounted to over $17k in fees that were not even necessary to pay. Shannon does not care about ethics or people, just on getting her paycheck at the expense of grieving families.
